STAGE DESCRIPTIONS
STAGE 1: Gang attack (from the 98 IDPA Nationals)
Standing with your back to T-1 and T-2 at 3 yards). Turn and engage both
with two shots. Advance to tall barricade. There is a sideways target
(T-3) next to a no-shoot at 4 yards. Engage T-3 ON THE MOVE to barricade
OR once you reach barricade. Then engage T-4 and T-5 (7 yards) from left
side of barricade (two of three targets, one will not have a gun and
therefore is a no-shoot). Then, engage T-6 and T-7 (7 yards) from right
side of the barricade (two of three targets, one will not have a gun
and therefore is a no-shoot). Reload whenever necessary.
STAGE 2: Mugging in the parking lot
While getting out of your car, three men walk up on the other side. They
demand your money. You then hear one of them say, "Let's kill him and take
the car too." This slightly annoys you, so you decide to help them to choose
another option. Standing outside your car, with your back to T-1, T-2 and
T-3 at 3 yards on the opposite side of the car, on signal, turn and engage
T-1 through T-3, whichever ones need to be engaged (two will have a gun and
one will have a knife, the one with the knife is not much of a threat since
he is across the top of your car, and he turns and runs away as you begin to
shoot his buddies, the one with the knife is a no-shoot).
Stage 3: Bank Hold-Up
While in the bank, several bad guys come in with guns and rob the teller next to
you. After taking the money, pull their guns out into plain view, shoot the teller
and turn towards you and say "No witnesses!" You are facing the left of the two men.
On signal, drop your wallet and engage T-1 and T-2 at 3 yards. You decide not to
stick around and wait for the police so you run for the door in case they get back
up. At the end of the hallway, three more men come running in, all three have
guns, but one is a policeman who was pulling up and heard the gunshots and is
chasing the other two (the cop will have a badge). The other two start shooting
at you, so you step behind the cover (tall barricade) and engage T-3 and T-4.
Obviously, the policeman is a no-shoot.
Stage 4: A Little Fun
This is a separate side match, just for fun. No concealment garment. T-1 at 2 yards,
adjusted to be as tall as the person shooting. On signal, draw and fire one shot as
quickly as possible, any style you wish. Repeat four times, for a total of five shots.
Fastest total average wins.
